We build NailDesk — point-of-sale software for nail salons.

NailDesk runs the front of a nail salon: customers check themselves in, the day's work is shared out among the technicians in turn, appointments are kept, and payment is taken at the counter. NailDesk also sends appointment text messages, from its own number, to salon customers who ask for them.

Bao Le LLC is owned and run by Bao Le Nguyen. NailDesk is developed in the United States and designed with nail salons in Florida.

Text messages

NailDesk sends the text messages about customers' salon visits — confirmations, reminders, a message when a customer's technician is ready, changes or cancellations, and a thank-you after the visit. NailDesk (Bao Le LLC) is the sender: the messages come from NailDesk's own registered number, and each names NailDesk as the sender and the salon where the visit is.

Texts are optional. A customer gets them only if she asks for them: by checking in with her mobile number on the salon's iPad — a Check in without a number button is on the same screen, and checking in that way sends nothing — or by ticking Text me about my appointment when she books online. Checking in or booking never depends on it, and she can stop at any time by replying STOP. NailDesk's number sends no marketing; a salon's offers come only from the salon's own number and only with the customer's separate yes.
